Our pick of the remaining Autumn Celebration of Food events.
Autumn may nearly be at a close, but the Shoalhaven Food Network’s Celebration of Food continues — because there’s just so much good, local stuff to go around.
An opportunity (or excuse) to get out and about despite the chillier weather, the South Coast food calendar is packed with events throughout the Shoalhaven, including classes and workshops, tastings and long long lunches.
We’ve picked a few of our favourites that are still to come (including our very own), featuring a handful of our favourite stockists, too.
Martin’s Ridge Farm: Taste Local Dinner, 30th May
Working with a bunch of local producers, Ian develops dishes that are grounded in this place, quite literally. You’ll spy (and taste) our sourdough on the menu at the dinner-with-a-beautiful-view, alongside goods from our mates at Coopers Produce, Second Fiddle Smokehouse, Clyde River Blueberries and more.
Gwylo: Street Food Saturday, 30th May
Enjoy your Mollymook favourite in a different way with a roaming street food experience. We’re talking: multiple stations to pick up your bites with the hibachi firing and a selection of new and old Gwylo picks. It’s guaranteed to be a major vibe.
Pilu@Willinga Park, 31st May
We’re hitting up this epic Italian Long Lunch, contributing a special Lagom-baked Italian treat. We love any chance we get to work alongside legendary Giovanni Pilu, and in this amazing setting too!
Bundanon: Providore Marketplace, 31st May
As part of Make Good Festival, Bundanon is bringing the best of local producers and makers to their grounds. We’re stoked to be joining the line-up this year, driving up the highway with a selection of our artisan sourdough and pastries. Find us there from 9am to 3pm; come ready to enjoy what our region has to offer.

Lagom Bakery x Old Salt Distillery: Booze + Bakes, 7th June
Our mates from Nowra are heading down the highway for the day. Meet us at Lagom Bakery for a taste by the lake — Old Salt Distillery will have their gin, sodas and spritzes available, and we’ll be selling a menu of breads and pastries infused with their flavours (plus your usual faves). Bring the family along, and enjoy the long weekend.
Season & Savour x Merry Street: Deep South, 14th June
These legends are taking you to the USA’s Deep South with an interactive food experience in Kioloa. Focusing on soul food and community vibes, it’s guaranteed to be something extra-special and unique.
