Your Go-To Eurobodalla Sourdough Stops

A few picks from our growing South Coast stockist list.

We’ve been tootling sourdough further down the South Coast for as long as we can remember, but we’re stoked to have grown the list of destinations (venues and stores) over the last few years.

In the latest news, our artisan sourdough and pastries are now heading to the Eurobodalla six days a week, making it easier for you to find your favourite loaves and sweet treats.

If you’re looking for authentic sourdough in Batemans Bay (and beyond), check out one of our go-to stops.

Eurobodalla Sourdough Must-Stops

A few picks from north to south on our weekly run:

Se7en Cafe, Batemans Bay

It’s good, hearty stuff here with the classics — served on Lagom Bakery sourdough — and a bunch of sweets. They’re slinging local Guerrilla Roasters coffee (just like us!), so we’re part of the same brew crew, too.

They’ve got fresh veggie boxes, packed shelves with everything you need, and a stack of sourdough that basically walks itself out the door. Get in early to grab your loaves — we’re delivering here Monday through Saturday each week.

Foodworks Malua Bay + Caffeissimo, Malua Bay

We’ve got a soft spot for Malua Bay. Two of our most recent additions to the stockist list are from this beautiful cove, where you can now grab a loaf to go with your morning coffee and grocery run.

Matthew and Candice from Foodworks gave us their top pick:

Definitely the Seedy House. It’s so tasty with the seed combo and delicious just toasted with butter or any breakfast topping. It also makes the most of its flavour in a fresh chicken and slaw sandwich.

The bulk food store is right up our alley for reducing waste and only purchasing what’s needed. Add sourdough to the mix — it’s a match baked in heaven.

Their Lagom Bakery faves:

Seedy Baguette with butter for an afternoon snack. The nigella seeds give it something different and make it so yummy!

Or the Olive + Herb for our morning toast. Goes with our scrambled eggs and just about everything else.

The Pearly South, Tomakin

Grab your fresh seafood, then finish with a sourdough baguette to soak up the juices and put on a pretty impressive spread.

Find a cooler spot by the water….(you won’t). They’ve got our doughnuts on Thursdays and a spread of sourdough and pastries to get you through the week. Sit and watch the pelicans wander by.

Foodworks Broulee

For another must-stop grocery spot with a side of fresh, local sourdough.

We love being on this groovy little menu, and a cocktail reimagining was not on our bucket list,  but we’re so glad it’s been ticked off (feat. the almond croissant — it is an absolute must-try).

Our mate Bloss (one of the masterminds behind the joint) says:

The Baguettes are the PERFECT pairing with our Umami Butter. We have them fresh with lashings of umami butter all over. Warm, buttery deliciousness!

Also the White Tin Loaf! Cut into perfect little rectangles, grilled and dressed up with nduja kewpie and olagasti anchovies.
